Thanks, that does make sense but it does appear to be painted (I may well be mistaken though) It’s a tiny chip, so might just try a standard black touch up paint to dull it down a little.

Hi all, does anyone know the correct paint code for the high gloss black night package trim? I have a very small chip on the front splitter and my local dealer is struggling (or unwilling) to provide details. Cheers

Auto Finesse Iron Out for me

Picked mine up last Tuesday and over the moon with it. 60-65mph on the motorway and getting 45-48mpg. One of my real concerns was the rumoured ECU problem, but going off this pole, there doesn't seem to be many complaints. Enjoy yours my friend.

Just to get an idea of how many E Class CDI Blue Efficiency Coupe/Saloon owners are experiencing Injector, ECU or other problems. Date of manufacture, may help too.

Does the £700 include the Throttle Box? I ask because the UK arm of Kleemann have quoted the following; £ 399.00 incl. VAT and including fitting or postage, for the KD box. Throttle box (Adjustable module for maximum throttle response) is £ 329.00 incl. VAT and including or postage. Rob

If it's a removable, inline unit would the dealership know? (if you removed it prior to any warranty work)

Unfortunately not. Works out around £55 delivered from the US, but for that you get enough paint and solvent to address many chips, multiple brushes and MF cloth. IMHO well worth it.

Thanks again for the replies. I had a good look through the used car sections of MB UK, Piston Heads and the Trader, but can't find ONE with privacy glass. That's got to be a clue hasn't it???
