1992 300SL 12valve adveraged 26.41mpg on this years run to Le Mans and back on motorways A Roads B roads traffic jams and town driving total miles 1006.
This year it will start at 3pm I belive it is because of the European cup football. It normally starts at 4pm but they change it during the European cup
If it has done less than 18,000 miles how did the underbonnet lining get ripped out leaving part of it behind. It does not seem quite right to me.Also I would bet that Nellie wore a base ball hat.

Thanks for the advice I will be sticking to dexron II.These gearboxes have been doing 200,000 miles plus on dexron II without failure so why use Amsoil synthic at extra cost.My car has only done 60,000 so its got a lot of life left in the gearbox and I dont want to jepordize it.Opie Oils have...

Changed a sensor on my sons BMW. need to take the seat out of the car and then about 4hrs of uncliping etc used cable ties to clip fabric back as metal clips used by manufacture could not be used again.A bind of a job but only cost £25 and an afternoon.Dealer price £400. Found a new sensor on Ebay.
Hi
I have 2 small trolly jacks which I have bought over the years and when it comes to jacking a merc they do not lift high enough and let the car drop down as soon as you turn away.I bit the bullit and bought a 3 ton professional/Heavy duty CTJ 3000G about £70 at machine mart and it...
My Pump failed on my 91 300sl took the unit apart and found that the pump motor brushes were faulty. Unable to buy just the motor( relitivly cheap 12volt DC motor with none replaceable brushes as used to power model cars etc) so had to buy the whole unit at about £300.
