No was not Star, but a Snap On unit, garage said it was a high end unit and used different keys to read different parts of the check, it also needed the chassis number

Just serviced my ML and now it will not start!. Noticed the fuel filter housing is cracked and the connector/pipe to the fuel tank is very brittle (Assume air being drawn in hence not starting) If I fill fuel line/filter then does run but wont restart as soon as I switch off (Lots of air bubbles...

Key Mercedes Key People tell me its to far for them to travel, so will have to go to them (250 miles round trip). I spoke to local dealer and they have quoted just under £300!!!. Any other thoughts, just to start the car in a emergency would be ok, so remote buttons etc not necessary

Hi Just purchased a 2000 ML270 (I know its a gamble) but so far drives well and no warning lights, so now starting doing a few jobs on it. Car only came with one key, I believe a replacement is a £250 job from Mercedes (1/4 of the cars value!!!) is there any other options. Thanks
