Not knowing about these things. But from the bits youve disturbed; do you think it could be an air leak at the fuel lines attaching to the filter. Engine off - air gets in. Engine on - air in the fuel is pushed along until it's flowed through to the engine. Your seeing it as warmed up, but could...
Hi all. Could somebody please check the OE part numbers for the "front lower suspension arms" for NSF & OSF. It was noted that the bushes are wearing and they should be changed within 6 months. Hubby is going to change them, but want to make sure I get the right OE parts or OEM. My chassis...
I'd be inclined to leave it so you can present the garage with the exact experience your having. If you drive it, it may change and then it's not like for like.
Thank you, and it does seem strange.
I have asked previously on here and was supplied said original part number. So if anyone reads this that can look up the part number, my VIN is WDD2074032F073442.
Seems bizzare that I'll purchase an aftermarket one, not a Mercedes one.
Morning all. Hubby is servicing my car for the first time. Having got the Merc part numbers and purchased the parts, he's out there now doing it. However the fuel filter will not fit, as per the photo. The Merc part you see is p/n A6510902852 which I've read superseeded the original p/n of...
I had the annual test done this morning. Always a little trepidation, more to do with the axle rust and my car is old and probablya candidate. But it passed with 2 advisories - to both front sides " Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement (Front lower arm bush...
Do you think this would be the same issue on his x218. The drivers side is good but the middle and passenger do produce spray but not half as good as the drivers one. It's just pass the MOT though.......
We've had our Admiral renewal come through this morning. £227 for mine and £229 for his. He then changed the employment status to retired and it added £14.98 to mine!. His didn't change. Rang up and spoke to a human who was great and said it was because my E250 had more power than his CLS220. We...
Hubby's car (X218) has just passed its MOT. The tester told him that both front tyres are starting to wear on the inner sides. He keeps the tyre pressures on the fleet as per the fuel flap. So is it an alignment issue or is this normal for the way the car (standard) is expected to wear?.
Thank you.
Surely if you offer even the slightest hint of any refund, then that may compromise you later if this goes on. The (generous) offer of a partial refund shows your mindset that you may have known (which you didn't). No means no. Obviously initially there is a way of saying it, as others have said...
