Well I drove it for about an hour last night, wheels were quite warm by the end of the journey, I wouldn’t say hot this time and no smell. Maybe something was stuck or caught up last time? I will keep and eye on it. in fact it’s due a service next month so maybe get them to check the wheels.

Thanks for the replies. I’m driving it tonight so will keep an eye on it and will check the car after each journey, try to make a note of how things are.
