Thanks for the offer Kenny. If I had a 4 jaw chuck big enough I’d do that myself but I don’t sadly. Would be interesting to get an off the car runout measurement.

Not yet. This was mounted with 5 bolts holding the disc to the hub with an even 60nm of torque. If you see my post I need a marking out table to test them on. The hub ran true so I’m 99% certain the discs are buggered in my case.

An update from my issues highlighted in this thread regarding my CLS 350CDI Shooting Brake. Nearside front wheel has a slight flat spot but my tyre fitter and The Wheel Specialist in Fareham have said not to worry about it. Currently it is balancing up well. Tyres removed and refitted as local...

Just to update my posts in this thread where I have been suffering similar issues with my CLS 350 Shooting Brake, the local Mercedes Specialist are currently going through the whole car and have noticed buckled wheels as we initially thought. At the moment, I haven't had the specialist confirm...

@Shifter that is a cracking colour and looks mega in the sunshine. Nice motor and you are right about the wheels. They just don't look "right" (not that my opinion matters at all by the way!). I'm sure you'll find something that suits.

If I hadn’t just bought a CLS Shooting Brake I would have snapped this up Sam. Good luck with the sale but I’m sure you won’t need it.

Until runout of the disc and hub can be checked it’s just going round in circles. It was one of the first things I did before posting up here. Which had lead me to believe that in my case it’s wheels. I will update once the car has been into a specialist Indy as I’m out of skill and know how now.

Thats good to hear. I think I’m going to bite the bullet and find something for mine as the 19s on there have been refurbed badly. Nice paint but poor repairs. TSW seem to do some lovely wheels these days but those Vossens look 👌👌 Did you have any issues with the 25mm drop and those wheel specs?

Hello all I‘ve been searching for info on lowering a CLS shooting brake fitted with rear air suspension but coil front suspension. So far it’s turned up only full air or full coil, not a mixture. Has anyone done this? Or does anyone have an idea? Cheers Ben
