hello everyone i have a 1999 clk 230 kompressor and have brought a clk 230 kmpressor engine (as a spare engine) and i was thinking of getting some tunning done to it and then swap it for my 230 komp engine in my car does anyone know who would do it for me or if its worth doing.

Oh ok in that case you'v got to get more off then if its overpriced the guy cant charge you retail price for the extra's he's got on the car it will be worth a bit more but not a load more

realy i thought it was, i have a 230 kompressor 99 plate as my own car does feel a lttle quicker thats probably why then

Hi welcome to mb club, i agree with the above, i am lucky enough to have a 1999 w208 230 komp as my car and a 2004 w209 240 komp as our company car and the 209 has a better dash/seats but i prefer my own car to be honest they are both coupe's but i still think the 208 looks better in cabriolet...

thanks for the replies i think im going to go for the w208 55 amg it will be the back end of the year but i like to resurch things well before i buy also i will be in touch mercland when i have the money. lol to the comments about clk 55 i have just sold my skyline to get a "cheaper to run car"...

hi i am thinking of upgrading my 230 komp later this year and i am just trying to find the diffrence between both models in terms of performance equipment ect ect anyone know the power output of the 430 i think the 55 is 347bhp thanks Terry
