Hi M80 I had no luck with the contact pads, even after cleaning and swapping. I read somewhere that shorting terminals 1 and 3 causes the SAM to think the door is shut as soon as it goes to close. which can cause its own issues. Can't remember the exact details of the problems this causes. But...
