The only change to my 1990 230E (Anthracite grey 2 tone: light upper) was to fit 8 hole alloys ,black leather autobox gear lever & leather steering wheel.. Love the car. A great drive, not a fashion victim, tasteful custom plate........cool. Don't plan to ever let it die.

You mean the writing on the badge with NO.1 written underneath? They are both Kanji. Pronounced GYOKAI. Literally means.....The best on the market (of this particular item).

The one wheel was delivered today. It's in great condition. Not a scratch & the rim is also very good. Just returned from swapping tyres & fitting it & it's the best condition wheel on the car. Thanks again for you help/suggestions guys.. Happy New Year to you.:thumb:

Thanks again d w124 That looks just the job. Still worried it may not fit, but it's returnable. Have cleaned my damaged wheel. No numbers/letters anywhere. The tyre's still on so maybe I need to remove tyre to check size. If you advise me that particular one wheel will fit I'll get it.

I've left message & hope to talk with him tomorrow. Still like the opinions of MB enthusiasts on here before I talk with him.

Thanks to your links I found that typing 10 hole into e bay got better results. Excuse my ignorance but my question to those that know is: The wheels in the picture have exactly the same size tyres (which I don't need) as I have on my existing 10 hole alloys. (One is badly damaged hence this...

That's better than I've found so far. They're 8 hole...the 10 hole is what I'm after. May need to compromise...but not until I've had a good attempt. Have to go off line now. On again tomorrow hopefully. Thank you so much for your prompt, helpful responses.

I need just one, or a set of...... 10 hole alloys, replica or genuine, for my 1990 230E auto. All the wheels that I've seen so far have very wide/few spokes & really don't fit the bill for this car. ANY links, tips, names.....anything that might give me a lead would be much appreciated...
