I was told at the time that the S203 and previous models could be cloned or re-coded I'm not sure which but the S204 keys had to be ordered ready coded and cut from Germany. In fact I had to visit the dealer 4 times as they somehow where unable to get my replacement right despite them taking...
Hi Alex, I'd take £20inc post. Obviously you can get a copied one for the same price but this is 100% genuine it's from a 2009 W204 if that helps confirm the model.
4 x Mercedes Elegance 17" Alloy Wheels with Michelin Primacy3 tires S204/W204 C-Class Model Number A2044010002 B66474275
These wheels and tires are from my c250 c-class w204 (Estate version of the S204) I no longer have the car as I got rid of it while it had another set of winter wheels...
Another vote for the above knockoff. The software doesn't cover some newer cars and the 2015r3 is I think really 2013. I've also tried a number of cheap bluetooth readers but found that while they would read codes from my 2009 model they wouldn't clear the codes You can get these for less than a...
Here you go. My car was unfortunately written off when a trucker caught me in his blind spot. This was a replacement I bought for a lost one (£350 :-o) and was never used as you can see from the condition.
My oh lost mine earlier in the year. I looked at the place in Brum but they don't do the w204 only older models.
I had no end of issues with Manchester Central getting mine. It took several visits and re-orders. When you get the new key, check it works and also check the removable blade is...
Will, how did you get on with the LEDs from ebay? I've recently bought some from china and they looked to need more power than my W204 parking lights supplied as they just flashed on and off.
My C-Class estate has started being a little fussy over when you can manually open the tailgate. It will always open using the electric assist but sometimes if I try and open with the handle I meet resistance and it will only continue with the motor.
Anyone any ideas?
Also should it continue...
Thanks for the info Krisby, is that in your w203? I suspect it's that the device(s) aren't fully compatible with some of the newer protocols.
I've had them both read and erase errors on other cars my 54 plate Alfa, and on mates cars 57 plate Ford Mondeo, ?? Fiesta but on the w204 it reads but...
Has anyone managed to get a BT or WIFI adapter that will actually reset fault codes on the more recent models? I've tried one of these mini adapters and this larger one that have worked with my previous car but not my current W204 59 plate c250. They both read the fault code my car had but...
Mine's the slightly newer facelift model but I'm sure I saw some guides on youtube for your model when I was looking for the same info.
Not sure if this is the same as yours. It might be the earlier model
Or the post facelift might help.
