    check out the rear quarter panels where the c post join..commom place for corrosion. to get it done under warranty u must have full service history and it takes about 4 weeks to repair as body mainly aluminium. also, check brake discs....they need replacing approx every 20k...they just dont...

    Thanks to everyone for responding. Mercedes have been helpful, but in this day and age it shouldnt happen. Clearly, even building them in space age conditions they have problems that they should have realised were going to happen. Anyway. i am going to launch of the new 600 at Goodwood...

    its 3 years old. the dealer has been really helpful...but everything has to go through Merc head office. ..i have complained but it like hitting your head on a brick wall....but i am with Merc this weekend at Goodwood so they are going to get a rocket from me.

    Thanks but i find it staggering that the money i paid for this and it seems to be always going wrong. I have had total hydraulic failure on the motorway..brake failure...some plug or other in the gearbox keeps coming loose ...now they want dismantle it..it shouldn't be happening!!!

    Hi i am new to this site. I have a fab CL 600 :D with full AMG kit...i was staggered to find corrosion coming through on the C posts and the bottom of the drivers door...the car has done 28000..Mercedes say its going to take a min of 4 weeks to repair..plus the dealer tells me they have real...
