Got my confirmation email from Tiscali this morning, as the upgrade to 8MB is complete. Connection speed is now shown as 7.8mbs but browsing, and the loading of web pages seems to be the same?? Is my system likely to be holding it all back from blazing glory!!:D Pentium4 2.4, 256mb ram...

I hope you have all requested BT to regrade your ADSL lines or are pestering your ISPs to do so. Some of the good ISPs are doing this automatically, but BT customers just need to request this. I have gone from 1mb to well over 4, no increse in price.
