allen

I am in the prcess of taking my cylinder head off for a head gasket replacement, however I am now stuck because I have managed to strip one of the allen bolts. I have tried heat and mole grips but no joy. I need advice on the best way to remove the bolt without damaging the chain cover. :wallbash:

hi just doing a driveshaft on my '88 230TE, offered up an 8mm Allen key, seemed to fit but couldn't get it to drive, on closer examination its like a 12-point star - this is 'TORX drive' , right? Only seen tiny ones on electronics before! Need to buy one to get the shafts out, but not sure how...

Simple question I hope: Is a T30 a torx or an hex allen key? (or either) I'm changing the brake pads and discs in my wife's Smart car and just want to be sure I've all the correct tools before I start. Thanks.

Gonna change my front discs over the weekend, but I'm missing a couple of allen keys. Does anybody know the size of the bolts on the caliper, and the one on the disc?
