    M4/A4 near Hammersmith still to be avoided?

    I need to go to a place in Brentford tomorrow morning. Could anyone who lives/works nearby please let me know if I need to still avoid going anywhere near it (due to the flyover)? 1. Usual route I'd take: M25 to High St/A315 - Google Maps ....which I'm thinking might be affected by tailbacks...

    Is jump starting to be avoided if poss?

    Mum's car ('99 C220CDi auto) is dead this morning but the battery seems ok (lights, horn, etc). As soon as you try to turn it over, there's a slight click and that's it. The glow plug light comes back on. When she comes back from the hairdressers (!) in mine, I was thinking of trying to jump...
