    W245 B200cdi EGR LOCATION? my mechanic says need engine dropped?

    If someone could help regarding the EGR location on a W245 B Class B200cdi. My car is smoking and losing power, all of which correlates to a faulty EGR and confirmed with a STAR test. however my mechanic thinks the EGR is in a hard to reach place and needs the engine dropped to access it...

    B200CDI engine problems

    New to the forum so greetings to all. Last month I bought a 2008 B200CDI from the local Land Rover dealer (a traded-in car) and all seemed well at first. The car has 62 000k's and drives really well with ample power. It has a full service history, from new at same dealer, and still 18 months...

    Finally got a B200CDi.... !!

    Pick up next Wednesday. Auto, Sports pack, Cosmos Black, Heated fabric/leather, Parktronic, Pre-wire, 5 twin-spoke alloys. Pics to follow :bannana: Need to buy a 6230i cradle. Anybody got one for sale or know a less expensive route than the dealer? Thanks
