    200E revs to 4k rpm then chokes

    Wonder if you guys can help. 1991 200E starts ok and revs up to 4000rpm no probs but then just chokes itself - it is almost impossible to drive. checked OVP, fuel pressure, air box and no luck. Any other ideas? Someone suggested a blocked cat. Also Steering Box leaking badly, whats easier...
