    W124 Auto Gear Knob Removal

    Can anyone help with this? I assumed (uh oh!) that the tacky 8-ball gear knob currently fitted to my project E220 would simply screw off, however, it looks like it's glued. Do I need to remove the shaft? Thanks in advance.

    ML55 gear selector, 'stuck'

    Hi, im really stuck on this :mad: I cant get my ML in gear, stuck on the drive for a week now. It did this once about 18 months ago. now it refuses to come out of P 'period. Start's ok, but selector is locked.!! came out briefly last wednesday and i managed to reverse, but i stopped and selected...
