have a sunroof

Hi all My sunroof is playing up...It will slide back and tilt ok with one press of the button but when I go to close it it shuts in stages and i have to keep pressing the button to get it level with the roof. Ive just taken the car for new discs,pads and an A service but my indies too busy...
