heater or controls

Hi, I have heat ok but if I set the controls to ' feet ' and leave the face vents open I still get air through the face vents. If I set the controls to 50/50 feet + windscreen I get some air to both, but still get air to face vents. If I set it to face I get 100 to the face. Any ideas...
