laptop or tablet

I'd like a 2 in 1 laptop tablet thingy and I'm bamboozled by the choice. So far I've looked at the DELL Insprion 1500 13" 2 in 1 and the Lenovo Yoga 13" & 14". 13" to 14" is about the right size. I don't want an Apple device as I have nothing else Apple. Are there any stand out...
