Hi All, I spend a fair amount of my sunday evenings on my E55, which is generally in good shape: But I'm struggling with the bottom of the windows. Seems to be bad watermarking or staining of some kind. It only shows when really close up, but its bugging me. Any suggestions or help...

This generally applies to those with pre-facelift W202 cars. How do I remove the rubber/plastic strip that protects the door ledge? Its not the plastic door protection sills which come up individually front and rear, it is the long black strip that sits on top of the sills a little lower down.
