Hi Guys
I have a 1999 C200 can you recommend Castrol GTX Magnatec for my engine.
I know we have had a lot of threads on engine oil but I used to use this in my 190E as you know it is not cheap but the same as all you guys I don't go for cheap.
Thanks
Norman
Folks
I suspect my car hasn't been serviced as it should have been from the private trader I bought from. Just checked the air filters and both seem old..oil also seems a little dark for something only 100 miles old so I'm going to oil change myself.
82k on the clock so which oil would you...
Maybe I'm being stupid or missing something.... but I can't get my mind around this..... If the idea of Megnatec is to cling to the edges all over the place and ensure that it's in the right place when the engine next starts .... how on earth do you persuade it to drain out when you do an oil...
