Here's a thought.... I have often heard folk refer to the possibility of incurring multiple speeding fines on the same journey by speeding past different speed cameras. Would this count as multiple offences if the speed never dropped below the speed limit? Surely this is the same offence...

It seems that because the EC is failing to meet it's own self-imposed goal of reducing EU road deaths by half for 2011 they need a new wheeze to justify their existance. See article from The Register.
