rain or light

hi all, I'm in another fix now :) - seems to be happening alot with this car. Anyway, I just replaced the inlet port shutoff motor. The car is good again. But before that, I disconnected the battery lead. Now the rain/light sensor is not working properly. Even in bright daylight/torch on sensor...
