resync

Changed batteries and tried the resync ( turn to 2nd click, press lock and unlock 5 times etc but still doesn't make the central locking work. Has anyone got any ideas please.

2010 W164 ML350 which now won't unlock or lock using the Smart Key, other than over IR when pointed directly at the door handle. If out of line-of-sight etc using RF, nothing happens. I had a W163 before this one and there was a sequence to resync the key with the car - is there an equivalent...

My kind wife decided to put my car keys through a 40degree cycle :rolleyes: so now my keys won't lock/unlock the car, it will however start the ignition. Is it possible to sync the key? its a 2001 CL. Regards
