upgrade to 350cdi

Hi I guess this been asked quite a few times before but I'm looking to change my 59plate e250 cdi coupe to a 10plate 350 cdi coupe. But I'm just a bit worried that the MPG will only be a big difference from my 250, currently getting average 42 ish around town but I've read of some stories...
