    Whistle/whine

    I quiet, high pitch but noticeable whistling noise on my W202 C220CDI (1999 126k miles) is noticeable from outside the car. It is definitely RPM related, not roadspeed. Any advice on whether I should ignore it or worry about it would be much appreciated! thanks, Michael
