Hi all

new to forum...so forgive me if ask something that’s already been discussed. I did perform a search for an answer but could find anything.

so I had a swan neck tow bar fitted today - all seem to go well, and they used the merc electrics with the install.

they have gone home and their office is now shut...but when I jumped in the car to do some errands I now have no power to any of my 12v sockets in the car...so my dash cam is no longer working :0(

Any ideas??
TIA

Perhaps piggy-backing of the 12v feed has blown the fuse, or they've removed the fuse.

hi BD
Just had a poke around the fuses and all look sound. I thought that the power socket fuse was missing at first (seems there are a couple of possible places for it) so I borrowed another 5s fuse and the dash cam sprang to life...but then when I put everything back to original position it was all still working...so perhaps the fuses weren’t actually pushed in properly and I inadvertently fixed it when checking them.

thank you for your help :0)

Glad it’s sorted 👍🏻
