1995 E220 saloon

Impending sale, available within the next couple of weeks hopefully, with a service, 12 month MOT and 6 month tax (booked in Feb 17 for service/MOT)

Bog-standard E220 auto saloon, M reg (Jan '95).
113,500 genuine miles with supporting service history (mostly but not full dealer)
Metallic Midnight (?) Blue (the "common" colour)
Beige cloth
No alloys, no air-con, no cruise, no OTG.
All electrics (sunroof, windows, wing mirrors and aerial) work.
Both front wings probably need replacing, otherwise bodywork ok, apart from a long, minor scratch on offside.
Bottom offside corner of front windscreen shows signs of "milking"
Plenty of tread on all four tyres.

I've owned the car for 4 years. It's never let me down and is mechanically rock solid. Only work required in that time was a replacement OVP relay and middle and rear exhaust sections replaced about two years ago.

Sorry, should have added that the guide price is £500 - £600. Reliable run-around and whilst the front arches would need doing to make it look good, they're no so bad that they need doing immediately.

Ooop, forgot to say that front springs were replaced with MB parts when I bought the car, so only 4 years / 17000 miles old. One was broken so replaced both.

Update: Car has an MOT til Feb 2012 BUT with a number of advisories relating to front brake pip & hose, oil cooler pipes, fuel pipes, front bottom arm bushes and rear suspension bushes. All of which are starting to corrode/perish but nothing to excess as yet. The rest of the car seems fine (starts, goes in a straight line until steering wheel turned, stops, etc). Rear tyres (NCT3s) have loads of tread. Fronts (also NCT3s) less so but still reasonable. Middle & rear exhaust sections less than 3 years old.

I have taken the decision to scrap the vehicle as it may expire at any time. I have an offer on the table of £130, plus I get to refund the VEL. If anyone wishes to match or better this offer and is willing to collect the car, let me know within the next few days. I haven't the time to advertise elsewhere or break it myself.
