A set of proper AMG styling II's with diamond cut lips, and bin the dreadful grille and restore it to normal or an avantgarde ....bin the towbar too .....

Couldn't agree more, car has some seriosu potential.
A set of 3 piece AMG wheels colour coded black, or a set of AMG Aero 1s with a polished lip
would look the nuts.Having said that the Brabus Monoblock IV do look nice:
I'm contemplating putting a bid in, i have a M119 V8 donor engine/gearbox/diff/wiring complete, looking for a donor car and this may just fit the bill.
