1995 SL320 Enhancement

Been pretty busy over the last few months but now I have a few hours of being able to do nothing I thought I'd share this 1995 SL320 in solid red I did a couple of months ago. Also have a few photos of an E55 and GTR to post later aswell.


The car was heavily swirled from years of washing and apparantly the odd machine car wash aswell. The car had an enhancement detail to remove the swirling and some of the minor scratches.

After the wash it was the usual de-tar and clay before starting to polish



Bonnet Before

After 4 passes of 3M fast cut plus and one pass of Menzerna 203s. The bonnet was polished again later with another pass of 203s and finished with Menzerna SF4000 Finishing Polish

After a quick wash and wax as the owner walked up to collect. The remaining water was delt with while we talked about future care for the car.

really good finish there as per usual! what pads do you use?

Cheers. I use chemical guys hexlogic pads at the moment. I find they are really good and last longer than other pads.
