i thought w124 series ended on n reg when it was superseded by the w210 so how can this be on a 99 plate?

Maybe it sat in storage for a long time, or maybe it is an import?

Of course the seller could be confused, he does seem to think it does over 45mpg

It will be an Indian made W124....I've even seen one on a Y reg 2001.

A whole stack of them came into the country in the late 90's mainly by way of Trade Sales in Slough.

Most were 220 manuals, although there are also some auto's and 250 diesels.

Would the 'new cat' - with only 7k on the clock - have been a requirement for import and use in UK?
