To my shame, a still own a six inch rule which held the lap record for a Formula Ford car at Silverstone for many years. In 1979 it was trapped between the fuel cell and the floor and I failed to find it until a full strip down later in the year

The name is familiar, but can't say I knew him.
I still (part) own that car which held the Silverstone lap record and it has won 3 Championships in Classic Formula Ford in the last few years.


Just like 1979, we get a quick Brazilian to drive it
