After several Porsches and a Ferrari, the most astounding thing about this SL55AMG is just how it mixes being so smooth with such high performance! It's possible to eat up motorway miles with the auto lights and wipers, cruise control and massage seats, and using the voice control to change the CDs..... or press ABC Sport and use the manual gearchange buttons on the steering wheel to overtake other cars like they are stationary. The Supercharged V8 sounds like a spitfire with the roof down and requires only 1000-2000rpm to keep pace in traffic. Visibility is excellent and the panoramic roof allows the Sun in.
