Hi, my passenger middle under body panel has partially dropped after some kids got a football stuck under my car as it was parked.
Their efforts to remove the ball seem to have caused this.
Looks like 3 or 4 attachment points are free in the centre of the car.

Any ideas as to the refitting bolts or screws needed here? Any pointers for a replacement panel item code , if that is needed?

Thanks rt

The plastic panel ?

The long panel(s) under the car are held on by quite a few screws and pretty solid . Are you sure a kid crawled under there and ripped it off ?

The solid brake line also run between that panel and the car floor. I would remove it and have a good look underneath rather than just screwing it back on.

If its the one under the gearbox it screws into the one under the engine using flat 'quick nuts' and the rear part screws into pretty flimsy steel hangers.

Get the car up in the air for a proper look . 👍

Hello Petrol Pete,

Thanks for the info.
l thought it was strange, perhaps the kicking of the
ball against the panel caused them to vibrate loose?
l did not see any screws in the ground . Perhaps they are still in the panel..

Ok, l am too old to shimmy under etc so , up in the air ,as you say is the plan .

Will report back soon. Rt

Hello, and
Yes, its dangling at a 35 degree angle to centre of car.... Screws holding on outside edge seem fine...

Having problems trying to id replacement screws or bolts that may be needed..

Grrr
