Afternoon all,

I've got an 2011 e350, and I've noticed that there appears to be a oil leak, and possible an air leak.

I think the oil leak may have been there prior to purchase, but want to get it sorted. It's not a massive one, but still... I've cleaned it all up (it looked a mess from where it stained)

I've attached pictures of where the oil leak is (see the red area), and near that I believe is a slight air leak but haven't been able to figure it out.

Anyone aware of any known /common issues? Where should I be looking for the oil leak?

TIA

Matt

Bumping this old thread as I have what appears to be the same thing.

New orange seals fitted to turbo prior to my recent purchase. Private sale, so no retailer support I'm afraid.

It looks like it could be blow by from the turbo to intercooler pipes - there are silicon seals (1 green one there, rest are black) in there - the big aluminium pipe coming from the turbo under the batwing. Easy to change and worth checking further along the line as there are more. I changed two on mine as they had compressed over the years. Made a real difference to performance and pickup as the system held better pressure instead of leaking off.

Thread here on how to change
