All dash wood panels for 2013 GLK have the clear plastic light tube on bottom edge. Those without the ambient lighting are missing the little lights and wiring on the ends of the plastic light tubes. However, I ordered genuine mercedes replacement dash wood trims (2 pieces) and they both came with the ambient lights. I wired them up to the blue wire off the lighter in the center console. Works perfectly. Turns on with other dash lights. Dims with other dash lights.
