Hello folks, Can you please help
Fitted a 642 cdi V6 engine from a 2005 E class that had SBC Brake Pump (brake by wire) to a 2007 E class 642 (engine seized) which has the Brake Vacuum Pump.
In order to fit the vacuum pump I removed the rocker cover and swapped the camshaft, fitted vacuum pump. But after 2 or 3 brake applications the is no brake boost assist.
I have taken the vacuum of and run the engine there is no oil feed to it! I have a video can't upload.
Is there a cap to the oil that I need to remove?
Anything other than swapping the engine again?
Any suggestions? I promise I will not do it again
