a207 e350 seatbelt presenter issue

I have a faulty passenger side seat belt presenter. Ive so far checked the fuses, replaced the unit with a working one and still is wont work. The courtesy light switch works on the passenger side so its not related to that as some have suggested. I am now out of ideas. Anyone had this problem at all please?

I had this some time ago and it was the seat belt attachment on the seat. The presenter thinks the seat belt has been attached so does not present. MB located the fault on Star machine.

STAR is Mercedes' diagnostic tool. Not many outside the dealer network have access to it although some/many indies do.

It's unlikely to be related, but have you tried fiddling with the switch on the dash?

The switch on the dash works fine as the drivers side one comes straight out when you press it.
