Vito CDI 109
Hi folks,

My Vito CDI 109 is experiencing a hissy fit at the moment.

When I go to talk off, I accellerate to increase the rev range for the clutch to engage, however the responsiveness from the van is hesitent. After a few seconds, it decides to increase revs. I've noticed a ticking of clicking sound (like that of a solonoid or relay engaging) while I lightly press the accelerator it does a few rapid clicks, then revs. As I let go, it clicks again. The clicks appear to be coming from the interor control panel (hazard lights, air conditioning control). I do have a audio recording attached - goes far 8-9 seconds.

Some history...

There has been an underlying issue with a jolting sensation at around 2500rpm (cold) and about 3200rpm warm. This first occured when the clutch was replaced. Typically it didn't bother me too much as I kept away from those rev ranges - easier when the van is warmed up. The mechanic advised that injectors have this characteristic when crapping out. He recommended that the crank angle sensor be changed first, as there is a possibility that the clutch change over did something to it, so lets rule it out given it is the cheaper option than replacing the injectors.

NO alerts on dash when either of these issues occur. The crank angle sensor was replaced three days ago, where it has travelled under 500kms.

Thoughts?
