Hi i have been trying to find how to get access to the cars service history googling says i need to request access to the DSB great thought it had turns out ive ordered access to the epc great likely £56 im not getting back!

so other than going to the dealer how can i do it as i need to supply proof to my company befor it get my money.

cheers

Ask the dealer to e-mail it to you. have you got the Mercedes Me app ? You will get it there but will need Sec Code from your dealer.

You need to register for Mercedes Me and then to have a code from the latest Service invoice, usually printed at the bottom right corner, if I remember the location of it correctly.
And here is the link to access DSB

only issue is i dont have a number as i dont have any service history

If you don't have an invoice from a previous service then I suspect that you will really need to go to a dealer with proof of ownership.

I wasn't quite sure what you mean here?

Yo the OP, so it's a company car, and the company requires proof that the services have been carried-out before they hand it back to the finance provider? Or when you say 'company', are you referring to the finance provider?

its car allowance but they wont give me my money every month till i prove its been serviced.

Unfortunately there's no other option than contacting an MB dealer and requesting a printout of the DSB.

The service history on Mercedes Me won't help you, even if you do manage to access it using the SecCode from the last Digital Service Record, because the printout from Mercedes Me will not show your VIN or VRM - only the dealer printout will display this.

Your your employer will only pay your allowance if you can prove that your car was serviced before you bought it? That seems really unusual.

At a stretch I could understand that they would want your assurance that it's being serviced during your ownership, but insisting on prove of prior servicing seems exceptional.

Are you sure it has a Mercedes Service History? If it wasn't serviced by the main dealer then the Digital Service Book may not have been updated.

called them they are emailing it over just needed to supply license and v5

its an official used car and i dont think that allowed to have non main dealer history. its only done 16k in 44 month.

yeah for some reason they want to check its been serviced its odd seing as servicing isnt a legal requirement

its gets better seems it was serviced at 18520 miles it only done 16671 :) its obviously a keying in issue but still

today 16671
1/12/20 MOT 16362
12/08/20 service 18520
10/03/20 MOT 14959
15/07/19 service 12019
16/05/18 service 5937

This is news, I've never seen anywhere on the app to look at service history and when it was set up I went through and enabled all the options with the dealer.

i cant see it in the app either but maybe its because i havent linked it on the website or maybe because the dealer didnt register me and i did it my self who knows

You can only see the Digital Service Book on the Mercedes Me website, but not on the app.
