Hello lovely people!
hoping someone can give me some advice, interested in purchasing a cls400d premium plus with with comfort pack with only 25k miles - it will be interesting to hear what this will be worth or what will be a decent price to purchase….

Also, are there any common issue I should be looking out for?

Any cls owners here know on resale value too?

Appreciate any advice for the points above.

Thanks in advanced :-)

Sounds like a nice car buddy .
If you live in central London will the car do enough mileage to justify the diesel and avoid any short slow driving issues that diesel engines don’t like ?
I read on one of the MB forums about the 400d engine having problems with overheating pulling a large heavy car trailer , if you aren’t doing that though you don’t need to worry about that issue .

I do a lot of motorway driving too along with the daily driving to work which is from central London to the east of London.
Won’t be pulling trailers anytime soon so not really worried about that.

I’m surprised to hear that about the 400d as they are supposed to be strong and reliable engines….

I think MB have a fix in place from now , it was the extra strain from towing created heat near the turbo that melted a pipe which then put it into limp mode …or something like that .
