Alarm going off intermittently

Hi hope someone can help. have not been driving my cls much and the alarm keeps going off. If i take it for a long drive will that recharge the alarm siren internal battery's up to stop the alarm going off all the time or do i need a new alarm siren and any one know the best place to get one from thanks in advance for any advice.

Check on a diag machine the cause of the last few alarm activations. This will point to the cause.

Alarm sirens are currently back order. Don't buy a second hand one either. Order one from your local MB dealer.

Thanks for your quick reply BlackC55. I will put my star reader to work at the weekend. Phoned local MB dealer back orders over a month.
