Some of my aluminium interior trim on the central console is showing some signs of wear, does anyone have any suggestions of ways to bring it back to looking like new again?

Would not know if it is plastic, or alloy trim , if alloy then no , other than replacing it , try to polish it and give it a coat of clear coat . Neat job would be to replace it .
