Hi.
I have an Android head unit in my S55, I swapped the old comand unit out for it three years ago.
I am pleased with it, I got it from Icebox, and it looks almost exactly like the standard unit.
I had to ditch the optical system, as I could not get the two systems to talk to each other, besides which, I had no need for the CD changer, the phone, or even the amplifier, as I got two aftermarket amps, the only thing I could have done with keeping was the dash clock, but there is one on the stereo, so its no bug deal.
I do have one thing I would love to sort out though.
I have the Android head unit, and it is connected by Bluetooth to my Android phone.
What I cant find is a app to voice dial the phone.
I can live without voice command on everything else, but its a bit of a pain having to stop to dial a contact.

"Hey Google"
"Call 'the Missus'",
I'll gve you her number later.

What I cant find is a app to voice dial the phone.

The default app on my unit is called MTCDialer. if you make that the default for Google then you can make hands free calls using 'OK Google, call xxxx'.
