While testing a new C class today (Different thread) I looked over an unregistered CLA Shooting Brake in white (this ones an AMG Sport Plus On 18's). It looks really nice, going to have an assisted test drive on friday, as its unregistered, I think after viewing the brochure the CLA Classs 4 door coupe looks good as well.
Has anyone bought either as I would appreciate any comments.
Thanks Eddie

Nope but i had a play on MB configuration, the CLA45 Shooting Brake AMG does look like a good choice for practical speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed. And better than the A45 AMG & CLA45 AMG 4 door IMO. Has the CLA SB been released now, i haven't seen one on the roads yet.

I sat in the back of one in the showroom I'm 5 ft 10 and I had to squint my neck sideways due to the headroom. So really only suited for small children in the back. That said nice looking car.

Front wheel /4wd drive and a dual clutch automatic ---built in Hungary--- if that floats your boat?

If you buy an A45 Model the engine is hand-built by a single technician too (as is the AMG way) but unlike the bigger V8s and V12s, which are assembled at its Affalterbach HQ, the 2.0T is actually put together in Merc’s Kölleda engine plant.

I had one last week for a few days. Our dealership only got one 2 weeks ago and it's a 220CDi OrangeArt. Not sure on the Orange, but it drives a lot better than the CLA Coupe. Seems smoother and more composed. The CLA45 is my least favourite of the 4 45AMG cars, it just doesn't seem to drive as well. I think the shooting brake version will be better though.

It's a very different car to the C Class, but a bit more interesting if you ask me. I also like the fact that it's front wheel drive with the option of 4 wheel drive
