nah, the W124 speedos have a habit of breaking, reading down the list of faults that one sadly is destined for the parts bin.
My guess is it's worth about £200 - £300 as it stands and will probably need a new gearbox (about £500 for a second hand one fitted) the 12 valve 300 engine is not particulary popular and running 100% the car would struggle to make £500 = uneconomical as a project.

Funnily enough, Me and Ian took 2 gearboxes out this week.
One from the 190E 2.6 and the one from Ians W124TE.
Either should fit if anyone want to give this old girl a go.
Actually it was 3 gearboxes but the one from the SE is needed.
