Audio 20 mic still quite

Hi, In an attempt to get better mic quality I have fitted a new genuine B class mic only to find it is just the same, clear but quite.

Looking at the pin out dig again there could be some confusion but I will check in the morning.

What pins should I be using?

There is mic 1 and mic 2 and shield and ground?
Are ground and shield the same thing?
Only 2 wire on the mic anyway.
Need to get on top of this so any help on this.
I did think buying a mic that is used with the audio 20 would have fixed this.
Mic is up to +2 in settings.

Well that was a waste of time and money, no change.
I have pins 1 for mic live and 9 for ground.

Am I missing something here?

Looks like I should be using both mic's something to do with noise cancelling so the audio 20 is not getting the info it's looking for.

Just looked at a new 2011 Vito sport with them fitted up in the light surround, one each side.
I have this same surround fitted in mine and it has two spaces for the mic's to clip in from the back.
All I now need is those mic part numbers.
Anyone with an up to date EPC for a 2011 vito?
