Auto start stop in sport?

Hi, I can’t seem to find a definite answer, to the question, does the Start stop function work whilst in sport mode? Not that I use the eco setting, but it’s something I don’t seem to be able to confirm, thanks.

It did on my 2013 W204 C180.
