B180 presafe function fault

I have a B180 2014 and recently having issues with the presafe function coming on with engine management light, and the car symbols for anti skid, which pushes it into limp mode and we loose all function of cruise/aircon etc. The code coming up is the throttle pedal, so they changed this and nothing changed , they then replaced the whole cpu, we’ve gone three weeks fault free and now it’s back ! Help!

Is the garage repairing the car using Star for diagnosis? The problem with codes is that they are not always specific to problem and it needs someone experienced to interpret them

I cannot understand why the AC should be affected though.

Oh I don’t know what they are using for diagnosis, they are a merc specialist. Ref’ ac they said it’s because it’s turning off all non essential functions with the pre-safe function.

I would be finding someone else to diagnose and fix it.

Could be just a low battery voltage or a ABS sensor.
I had lots of strange messages come on when the wife’s B200 had a fault with the sensor, all sorts of anti skid/ pre safe lights came on, also the steering went really heavy and the car went into a low power mode.
Sorted it with Icarsoft reader, if you haven’t got one you will need Star to read the codes.
